EMERGENCY AND INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

The library will be open for regular hours unless the following conditions occur:

A.  The governor closes the state for any emergency.
B.  The state police advise all residents to stay off the roads.
C.  Major industries, banks, and offices decide to close.
D.  Any emergency where the trustees feel it’s necessary to close.

Story time will be canceled if school is canceled.  If there is just a delay for school then story time will be held.

In the event that the librarian is unable to get to the library, the trustees will be notified and they will decide whether someone else can open or the library will be closed.

Final decision for closing will be made in consultation with at least two trustees; then the librarian will call WDEV Radio VT at 244-7321 to let residents know that the library is closed.

BOTTLES FOR BOOKS

Many thanks to those residents who have dropped off cans and/or bottles at the Armstrong Redemption Center and donated the proceeds to the Moretown Memorial Library.  This is ongoing; so it’s not too late to bring your cans or bottles and tell them that all or part of the money should got to the library.
